Backed by a British manufacturer with 20 years experience in the field Racemettle is able to offer high quality billet steel connecting rods.

 

The rods are available in ‘H’ beam or ‘I’ beam styles. The ‘I’ beam should have better windage characteristics but with two rods of equal strength the ‘H’ beam should be lighter and is consequently the most popular choice.

 

Billet steel rods are stronger than the forged steel rods that were much more economical to produce until CNC machining became popular and made billet steel more competitive for automotive components such as connecting rods.

 

The billet steel connecting rods are available for a wide range of engines for classic, historic, vintage, race and rally vehicles and are heat treated to ‘V’ condition and supplied with suitable ARP bolts. Connecting rods can also be supplied to customers’ specification or from samples.
